## About Les Saisies

Les Saisies sits on a broad sunny plateau between the Beaufortain and the Val d'Arly, with one of the best Mont Blanc panoramas in the Alps directly in front of it. It anchors the Espace Diamant, around 190 km linking five villages.

It also has one of the strongest cross-country traditions in France — it hosted the nordic events of the 1992 Albertville Olympics — and the plateau is laced with trails.

## Where lessons start

The plateau is gentle and open, which makes it one of the more relaxed places in Savoie for a first week. The nordic trails are a genuine alternative if downhill is not for everyone in the group.
