Mt Olympus is the most remote of the Canterbury club fields, above Lake Coleridge, and the access road is the one people tell stories about — narrow, steep and often requiring chains on all four wheels.

## Where lessons start

Experienced skiers only, and go with someone who knows the field. The terrain is ungroomed and the isolation is real.
