Alpine Pal started as a marketplace for independent instructors, and in some places that is not how teaching works: in Andorra and similar markets, only instructors backed by an authorised school may teach for payment. A school account brings that arrangement onto the platform without changing what customers see — they still browse instructors, talk to them and book a specific person.
How a school account works
You register the school and we review it by hand — schools only appear once we have checked they are a real, authorised business. From your dashboard you then invite instructors by email. Each invitee completes the normal instructor profile (biography, resorts, languages, qualifications, photos), except that you set their hourly rate and the surcharge per extra student, and there is no payout setup on their side: the money is the school's.
How the money moves
Customers pay when they book, the platform holds the money until the lesson is confirmed, and 90% of every lesson lands in the school's balance — the same 10% commission independent instructors pay, with a commission invoice for every withdrawal. Schools in countries Stripe supports are paid by bank transfer through Stripe; everywhere else — Andorra included — we pay the school by hand: bank transfer (IBAN), PayPal or Payoneer. You pay your instructors however you already pay them.
What your instructors get
Each instructor keeps their own public profile, calendar and chat — customers book a person, not a desk. Instructors invited by a school show a verified badge backed by the school from day one, and your school's page links every one of them.
Frequent questions
Who sets the prices?
The school does, per instructor, from the roster in your dashboard. Instructors from a school cannot edit their own rates.
Can we join from a country Stripe does not support?
Yes — that is much of the point. Schools in Andorra, Argentina or Chile are paid manually: add your IBAN, PayPal or Payoneer details and we transfer each withdrawal by hand.
Do our instructors go through the usual review?
No. We review the school before it can invite anyone; instructors you invite are live as soon as they complete their profile, with a verified badge backed by your school.
What does it cost?
The same as for everyone: 10% of each lesson. There is no monthly fee and no charge for inviting instructors.
