Rafael Rossi

About me

My name is Rafa Rossi, I’m originally from Cantabria and I’m a Level 2 Qualified Instructor; I’ve had a passion for the mountains since I was very young. I began sharing my passion some 30 years ago and turned to teaching professionally in 2003, completing my qualification in Candanchú, having previously attended the Military Mountain School where, as well as training as a mountain professional, I was also part of the resort’s rescue team. I’m passionate about ski mountaineering and, consequently, off-piste skiing, both on alpine skis and in Telemark style – a discipline I’ve been practising for about 15 years with ever-increasing enthusiasm. I have a great deal to teach at Baqueira, not only in terms of technique, but also about its surroundings, its slopes and its culture. It will be a pleasure to share this with you.
