About Corralco
Corralco sits on the Lonquimay volcano inside the Malalcahuello reserve, surrounded by native araucaria forest, and it offers something the Santiago resorts cannot: tree skiing. The central Andes are almost entirely above the treeline; here you can ski in the forest when the light goes flat.
It is further south and wetter, so the snowpack is deeper.
