Paganella is a single ridge with two faces, above the villages of Andalo and Fai, and the view from the top is the reason people remember it: the Brenta Dolomites on one side, and on a clear day Lake Garda far to the south on the other.

It has one of the strongest family reputations in Trentino, with a lot of investment in beginner infrastructure.

Qualifications required in Italy

Teaching skiing or snowboarding for payment in Italy is a regulated profession: an instructor must hold the Maestro di sci, registered in the regional albo. Instructors listed as certified on Alpine Pal have either sent theirs to us for review or are vouched for by the ski school that invited them.

Base in Andalo, where the lifts and most of the family-oriented hotels are; Lake Molveno below is the standard rest-day plan. Verona is around an hour and a half, which makes it one of the easier Trentino resorts to reach.
