About Corno alle Scale
Corno alle Scale is Bologna's mountain, the highest point of the Emilian Apennines, and it is where Alberto Tomba — the most successful Italian alpine racer of all time — learned to ski.
It is modest in scale and its season depends on cold weather, but for a city of that size it is the local hill, and it has the coaching tradition to go with it.
