About Monte Cimone

Monte Cimone is the highest peak of the northern Apennines and the largest ski area in the range, with four linked sectors around Sestola in the Modena mountains.

It has been the winter destination for Emilia-Romagna since the 1930s, and the scale is enough to fill a week rather than a day — which is unusual this far south.

Instructors listed as certified on Alpine Pal have either sent theirs to us for review or are vouched for by the ski school that invited them.
