About Folgaria-Lavarone
Folgaria and Lavarone sit on the Alpe Cimbra, a broad forested plateau in southern Trentino, and the terrain is about as gentle as lift-served skiing gets: rolling, wooded and almost entirely blue.
The plateau is one of the historic Cimbrian language islands, a Germanic dialect community isolated here for centuries.

Is Folgaria good for absolute beginners?
It is one of the easiest places in Italy for a first week. The Alpe Cimbra plateau is rolling, wooded and almost entirely blue, so there is nothing steep to fall into, the trees help on flat-light days and distances are short everywhere. It is also close: Verona is around an hour and a quarter, Trento about 40 minutes.
