About La Bresse-Hohneck
La Bresse-Hohneck is the largest ski area in the Vosges, on the rounded granite summits that separate Lorraine from Alsace. The mountains are old and low — the Hohneck reaches 1,363 m — so the season depends on cold weather rather than altitude.
What it does have is extensive floodlit night skiing, which for a population living an hour away turns a weekday evening into a ski session.
