About Le Sauze
Le Sauze is the smaller, older half of the Espace Lumière, just above Barcelonnette, and it has a freestyle tradition that goes back decades — unusual for a resort this size, and the reason its park punches above its weight.
It is unpretentious, sunny and cheap, and it shares its lift pass with Pra Loup across the valley.

Is Le Sauze good for learning freestyle?
Unusually so for its size. The resort has a freestyle tradition going back decades and its park punches above its weight, so an instructor here can teach jumps as readily as turns. It shares the Espace Lumière pass with Pra Loup, and Barcelonnette is 10 minutes below.
