About Monte Terminillo
Terminillo was developed in the 1930s as 'the mountain of Rome', deliberately promoted as the capital's own resort, and the grand hotels of that period are still there.
It is closer to Rome than the Abruzzo resorts and correspondingly popular on a snowy weekend. The season depends heavily on the weather at this latitude.
