About Roundhill
Roundhill has the gentlest beginner terrain in the Mackenzie, wide and sunny above Lake Tekapo, and then it has the Heritage Express: the longest and steepest rope tow in the world, climbing 783 vertical metres to terrain that is emphatically not for beginners.
The two halves have almost nothing to do with each other, which is part of the charm.
