Pietro Dalmasso

About me

Meet Pietro Dalmasso – Your Personal Ski Instructor and Alpine Experience Specialist More than 30 years on the slopes. Four professional qualifications. One goal: helping you make the most of every day in the mountains. Originally from Milan, I studied Economics in the United States and the United Kingdom before settling in the Principality of Monaco in 1993. My international background has shaped the way I work: combining professional expertise, attention to detail and an understanding of the expectations of an international clientele. I hold several professional qualifications in alpine skiing: - Italian Ski Instructor. - French State-Certified Ski Instructor (Diplôme d'État – DE Ski). - Federal Coach certified by FISI, the Italian Winter Sports Federation. - Specialist qualification in teaching skiing to people with disabilities. This combination of Italian and French qualifications, together with many years of practical experience, allows me to offer a broad range of instruction, from first-time skiers to technically demanding coaching sessions. I also work as an outdoor equipment tester and product reviewer for a leading specialist online publication. Testing skis, technical clothing and mountain equipment in real conditions gives me valuable insight into performance, materials and innovation. Ski lessons, mountain discoveries and tailor-made experiences Every skier has different expectations. Some want to take their first turns, others want to overcome a technical limitation, while experienced skiers may be looking for a memorable day exploring the Alps. My services are designed around these different ambitions. Private ski instruction Individual lessons are available for adults and children, from complete beginners to experienced skiers. Each session is adapted to your abilities, confidence and personal goals. Whether you want to master the basics, improve your parallel turns, develop your carving or feel more comfortable on challenging terrain, we will work together at a pace that suits you. Private Ski Safaris across the Alps Discover more than just the pistes of a single resort. I organise full-day skiing experiences in some of the most remarkable Alpine destinations, including Cervinia, Zermatt, Chamonix, Courchevel, Megève, Morzine, Avoriaz, Courmayeur and many others. From spectacular mountain panoramas to lesser-known routes and different ski areas, each itinerary is planned according to your skiing ability, preferences and the conditions of the day. Heliskiing experiences For those looking for something truly special, I can help organise heliskiing adventures, including suitable itineraries for intermediate skiers where conditions and local regulations permit. Access remote Alpine terrain by helicopter and enjoy the experience of skiing untouched snow. Routes are selected with great care, taking into account snow stability, weather, participants' abilities and the specific requirements of each outing. Personal assistance with your ski holiday A successful ski holiday involves much more than time on the slopes. Through my tour operator business, backed by more than 15 years of experience, I can assist with the practical arrangements that make a mountain holiday enjoyable and stress-free. Depending on your needs, this can include accommodation, private transfers, ski equipment rental, restaurant reservations, gourmet chalets and other bespoke mountain experiences. I remain available throughout the planning process and during your stay, helping you coordinate the details and make the most of your time in the Alps.
